WHAT IS TWEENY SKIN?
Tweeny Skin is a skin care range founded by an Australian tween for tweens. The products are formulated with gentle yet effective ingredients designed specifically for tweens and teens. Our skincare products are suitable for all skin types and conditions, from sensitive to acne-prone skin and work to cleanse, nourish and deliver effective results while developing good skincare habits.
WHY CAN’T MY TWEEN/TEEN USE MY SKINCARE PRODUCTS?
Young skin is sensitive and fragile compared to that of an adult. The difference in skin structure contributes to the fragility of young skin as opposed to the skin of an adult. Made up of different kinds of cells, the epidermis is the out most layer of the skin. The epidermis is 20-30% thinner in tweens/teens therefore much less resilient than adult skin. A tween/teens skin is thinner and has a higher body surface area, so it more easily absorbs toxins; therefore, gentle, simple and safe products specifically designed for tween/teen skin should be used.
WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF TWEENY SKIN PRODUCTS?
All Tweeny Skin products have a shelf life of 3 years unopened and 12 months once opened. Remember to store all your products in a cool, dry place again from direct sunlight and under 30 degrees.
HOW MANY TIMES A DAY SHOULD I USE MY TWEENY SKIN PRODUCTS?
For best results we recommend using the Face Wash, Serum and Moisturiser every morning and night. We recommend using the Mask 1-3 times per week depending on your skin type and condition. For sensitive and dry skin, we recommend using the Mask once per week. For normal to combination we recommend using the mask 1-2 times per week and for oily and acne prone skin we recommend using the Mask up to 3 times per week on alternate days. Always apply moisturiser after mask use.
IS IT NORMAL TO FEEL TINGLING ON MY SKIN WHEN THE MASK IS ON?
Yes, this is very normal, especially if you have sensitive, dry or dehydrated skin. If you feel anything more than a tingle or tightening sensation we recommend you remove the mask with our Face mask remover pads which have been soaked in cool water immediately. Wait 15 minutes before applying Serum and Moisturiser. Do not use the Mask more than once per week and do not leave on for longer than 5 minutes until your skin builds more resilience.
IS IT NORMAL FOR MY FACE TO HAVE ANY REDNESS AFTER USING THE MASK?
Yes, redness after a clay mask application is normal. That's because clay brings blood to the surface of your skin whilst its absorbing impurities from the skin. The extra blood drawing to the surface also makes our cells healthier and more nourished. Wait 15 minutes after Mask removal before applying Serum and Moisturiser.
WILL I BREAKOUT AFTER USING THE MASK?
There is a possibility you may break out after using the Mask. Along with many other benefits, the mask is designed to remove all impurities from the deeper layer of skin. This means that all these impurities and infections in the skin will rise up to the surface of the skin. That's who acne sometimes gets worse for a couple of days before it gets better.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I GET A REACTION?
Our products are formulated with gentle ingredients and should not have any adverse effects but every bodies skin is different therefore Before using any Tweeny Skin products we recommend doing a patch test and waiting 24 hours to see if any reactions occur. If a reaction does occur cease use of the products immediately and consult a doctor if need be.

CAN I CHANGE MY DELIVERY ADDRESS ONCE I HAVE PLACED MY ORDER?
Orders submitted on tweenyskin.com are processed and shipped very quickly therefore it may not be possible to change the delivery address. We strongly recommend that you double check all details before submitting your order. However, we will try and do our best to modify any orders that may have been incorrectly entered. Send an email to hello@tweenyskin.com with “URGENT – Change wrong address” in the subject line along with your correct details and order number to ensure our team can action this as quickly as possible.
CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER?
Unfortunately once your order has been placed, we are unable to cancel or make any changes to your order. Please refer to our Returns Policy.
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN ORDER CONFIRMATION, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Order confirmations can sometimes take up to 24 hours to receive due to high demand. Please check your junk/spam folder before contacting our customer service team at hello@tweenyskin.com
HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?
Once your order has been processed you will receive an email with your tracking information you can then track your order through.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SHIP MY ORDER?
All Orders are dispatched from our warehouse within 48 hours of purchase Monday through toFriday. Please keep in mind that these times may vary during public holidays or limited edition launches and restocks. AUSTRALIA: Standard AustraliaPost 2-10 Days Express AustraliaPost 2-4 Days REST OF THE WORLD: StandardInternational Australia Post 10-18 Days Please note these are estimated shipping times as delays are out of our control.
HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?
Free Standard shipping within Australia for all orders over $150 and Free International Standard shipping worldwide for orders over $150. For all Australian purchases under $150 we offer Standard flat rate shipping for $10 and Express for $15. For all International orders under $150 we offer Standard flat rate shipping for $20.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISSED DELIVERY AND HAVEN’T COLLECTED MY PARCEL?
If you miss your parcel and it is not collected from your local post office within 14 days, it will be sent back to our warehouse. If you would like to have it re-shipped, there will be a re-shipping fee of $10 AUD for domestic orders and $20 AUD for all international orders. If you would like a refund instead, we will refund you the amount of your order minus $20 AUD for the processing & return shipping costs for all domestic orders and $40 AUD for all international order. We are not held liable for parcels that have failed to be collected.

We understand receiving your order on time and in good condition is important to you. It’s equally important to us! We do absolutely everything possible to ship and deliver your order on time and in good condition. I LIVE OUTSIDE OF AUSTRALIA, WILL I HAVE TO PAY ADDITIONAL DUTIES, VAT OR OTHER CHARGES?
Some countries (such as those located in the United Kingdom or the European Union) charge duties or Value Added Tax when goods are imported. Tweeny Skin has no control over and is not responsible for any additional import charges as these charges are imposed by and controlled by local governments, border security and/or customs authorities. It is your responsibility to pay any duties, Value Added Tax or other similar charges. If you refuse to pay these additional amounts then your delivery will be returned to us. Provided that the product is still in its original condition, Tweeny Skin will refund you the cost of your purchase (minus the costs of shipping to and from your country).

Refunds & Returns

CAN I REFUND MY PRODUCT IF I CHANGE MY MIND?
Unfortunately, due to hygiene reasons we don’t accept returns or exchanges for change of mind purchases. A refund will only be accepted if a product is faulty. If you have received the incorrect product, or a product is damaged or faulty, please provide details (including photos) within 7 days of purchase. We will verify whether you are entitled to a replacement with new products and provide instructions accordingly. Please note shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.
